Microchurch Diagnostics

This year, our annual SUMMT was framed around Alan Hirsch’s thinking on mDNA (missional DNA), which is comprised of 6 elements that have been observed in the life of impactful Jesus movements throughout history.  We considered how we might use the framework in our microchurches to cultivate these important aspects of communal missional life.

We created a microchurch diagnostic for each of the 6 elements of mDNA. We wanted to help our microchurches self-assess how the elements are showing up in their communities and see if there might be any gaps to develop. These sessions include Jesus in Lord, Disciplemaking, APEST, Organic Systems, Sentness and Suffering Community.  You can can access them here as a packet of all 6 diagnostics or as individual resources for each element. 

We hope you’ll find these to be a helpful companion resource to take a closer look at the mDNA that makes up your microchurch community.
